Dean Lester

Dean founded Bravestar from a journey through adversity and transformation.

Drawing on personal experiences of injury, mental health struggles, and growth, he believes true performance is holistic—encompassing mind, body, and soul.

With a history in strength and conditioning training, he understands performance and recovery. Knowledge and skills honed while preparing Uruguay and Fiji for 2 Rugby World Cups and an Autumn Nations Cup respectively, stoked his passion for ultimate physical performance and holistic wellbeing—the pillars of the brand itself.

Bravestar is built on this philosophy supporting, not just professional athletes, but everyday people to develop resilience, strength, and self-awareness.

Through a blend of physical conditioning, coaching, and psychological wellness, Dean continues to help others achieve lasting wellbeing—honouring every part of their story, and empowering them to thrive, both on and off the field.
